Different Party, Same Old B*stards!
Updated: Mar 14, 2025
A while ago, I wrote a post about the Conservative party's desire to change how the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) system works.
In this I accused them of being scum, something I stand by.
In it, I hoped for a quick general election in which, as many suspected, Labour would move into government.
And it happened.
Now we're back at square one. Labour, the supposed party of the people, are now trying to cut it to the bone too. Good ole' bean counter Rachel Reeves and her fiscal rules.
We as yet don't know what form this will take. As I write this, the details were meant to be announced today. They have been delayed until next week. This is rumoured to be so the government can placate (probably bribe in some way) members of the party who are against this.
The general thought is that at least £5 billion will be cut. How disappointing.
Thankful picking on the poor and disabled is easy, so much more than going after the millionaires and extremely wealthy. The fiscal rules are safe,
What a bitch!
And what scum Labour turned into.
